Yvonne Goh

Ms Yvonne Goh is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore (CA), an Accredited Tax Practitioner (Income Tax), and a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She also holds a Master in Taxation from the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), formerly known as SIM University. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Ms. Goh has developed a unique and effective approach to delivering complex tax concepts, enabling students to navigate the ever-evolving tax environment with confidence.

Advanced Taxation (ATX)

In her ATX lessons, Ms. Goh consistently reminds students of their role as tax consultants, fostering a professional mindset. Her “questioning approach” encourages students to analyse and evaluate diverse tax scenarios, apply scepticism, and exercise commercial acumen—key qualities now embedded in the ATX syllabus, which awards 20 professional marks for demonstrating such skills. Through her dynamic and engaging delivery, she helps students master the analytical and practical components of tax consultancy, ensuring they are well-prepared for their exams.

Taxation (TX)

In her TX lessons, Ms. Goh emphasises the role of students as tax agents, guiding them to understand tax rules and implications from their clients’ perspective. Her teaching focuses on preparing accurate tax computations and providing basic tax planning advice, ensuring students build a strong foundation in taxation concepts and their practical application.
