CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Making a Difference, Together

With a genuine belief in the power of collective effort, we strive to foster a culture of care and responsibility. Our team, alongside our students, takes small but meaningful steps to uplift others, support important causes, and contribute to a better tomorrow.

It’s not about grand gestures; it’s about making real, heartfelt contributions that remind us of the difference we can make when we come together.

COMMUNITY INITIATIVE

Giving Back Through Collaboration and Action

At LSBF Singapore Campus, we firmly believe that making a positive impact goes beyond our educational mission. It’s about supporting and uplifting the community around us.

Partnership with Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities Limited

Partnership with Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities Limited

In 2024, we took an important step forward by formalising a partnership with Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities Limited (THKMC), an organisation dedicated to supporting low-income families.

Through this collaboration, we’ve had the privilege of offering our classrooms and boardroom for THKMC’s corporate meetings and training sessions, providing them with a space to connect, learn, and grow. But it doesn’t stop there. Our staff and students have also come together to volunteer their time and talents, participating in painting works to help improve the homes of THKMC’s beneficiaries. These families face many challenges, and we are proud to contribute in a way that directly supports their well-being.

BookCycle

We are excited to officially launch BookCycle on 11 December 2024. This initiative allows us to pass on textbooks our children have outgrown, giving them a second life and helping others in our LSBF community. It’s a simple yet impactful way to save on educational costs, reduce waste, and support each other.

At LSBF, we’re more than colleagues—we’re a family. Through BookCycle, we hope to make life a little easier for our staff and their families while promoting sustainability. Surplus books will also be donated through drives like NTUC FairPrice’s Share-A-Textbook campaign to help families in need.

Every gesture, no matter how big or small, truly makes a difference. At LSBF Singapore Campus, these initiatives reflect our ongoing commitment to making a positive difference in the community. Through offering resources, volunteering our time, and supporting important causes, we aim to nurture a culture of kindness and care. For us, it’s not just about what we give—it’s about being part of a community that genuinely cares for one another.

Donate Your Things

SOCIAL INITIATIVE

Collection drive with the Salvation Army

tudents and staff were encouraged to contribute in-kind donations or pre-loved items in good condition. Items such as accessories, apparel, bags, books, DVDs, electronic products, stationery, and toys were collected by Red Shield Industries, the social enterprise arm of The Salvation Army. At LSBF, we believe these donations will bring comfort to those in need, trusting that The Salvation Army will put them to meaningful use.

GREEN INITIATIVE

Environmental commitment

Sustainable development for Singapore involves fostering growth that balances economic prosperity with a high-quality living environment for present and future generations. At LSBF, we are committed to protecting the environment, adopting sustainable business practices, and promoting wellness for our staff, embracing a triple bottom line approach to sustainability.

As a testament to our dedication, LSBF has been awarded the Eco Office certification by the Singapore Environment Council. This recognition reflects our efforts in implementing environmentally conscious policies, efficient resource consumption, waste management, and recycling practices. We aspire to be an Eco Leader within the private education sector, continuously striving towards earning the School Green Award and reinforcing our commitment to sustainability.
