Mr. Rathakrishnan Govind is the Chief Executive Officer of LSBF Global, based in Singapore, and serves on its Board of Directors. Prior to his appointment as CEO on 1 March 2017, he held the role of Managing Director for Singapore and South East Asia. His leadership and vision have been pivotal in driving the organisation’s growth and success.
With over 30 years of professional experience, including more than 20 years in senior management, Mr. Rathakrishnan’s career spans various sectors. He began his professional journey with the Singapore government at the Ministry of Defence, Special Operations Unit, before transitioning to leadership roles in private and non-profit international organisations, including the Olympic Organisation. Prior to joining LSBF, he was a senior executive in a private education organisation, further solidifying his expertise in the education sector.
Mr. Rathakrishnan is highly regarded for his exceptional skills in organisational change, strategy development, and operational excellence. He has successfully managed both cost and profit centres, demonstrating a keen ability to navigate complex business challenges. Academically, Mr. Rathakrishnan holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Management from University College Dublin and a Professional Executive Diploma in Directorship, jointly awarded by Singapore Management University and the Singapore Institute of Directors. He attributes his success to precise, military-style intervention strategies, which he employs to overcome business challenges and achieve profitability.
