Mr. Titus Kuan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in auditing, technical advisory, and professional education. He began his career at a Big Four firm in Singapore, where he spent 12 years, including a two-year secondment to London. During his tenure, he managed assurance engagements and oversaw the firm’s learning and development (L&D) function, showcasing his expertise in both technical and training capacities.
Following his time at the Big Four, Mr. Kuan took on the role of Technical and L&D Director at the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA). In this capacity, he was responsible for providing technical advisory on Auditing, Assurance, Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), Corporate Reporting, and Ethics, while also leading the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) department to support members’ professional development.
Subsequently, Mr. Kuan joined a mid-tier accounting firm in Singapore, where he served as a signing partner for companies across various industries. In addition, he acted as the firm’s Technical Director, spearheading its training programmes and offering technical advisory support. Currently, he is an audit partner at PKF-CAP LLP, where he continues to contribute his vast expertise.
Alongside his professional roles, Mr. Kuan is a dedicated educator. He trains candidates for the Singapore Chartered Accountant Qualification (SCAQ) programme, conducts ISCA CPE courses, and serves as an adjunct lecturer at both the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). His commitment to developing the next generation of accounting and finance professionals is evident in his dynamic teaching approach and extensive contributions to the field.
