LSBF in Singapore School of Technology Co-facilitates Learning Activity for MBA Students at INSEAD

On 3 February 2021, Dr. Preethi Kesavan, Head of the School of Technology at LSBF in Singapore, had the opportunity to work with Professor Ruben Durante as a facilitator at INSEAD’s Asia Campus.

The assignment was to assist in the Lake Simulation game application for Insead’s MBA students as part of their Business Society and Public Policy (BSPP) module held at Insead’s Singapore campus.

The primary objective of this simulation was for students to apply strategies in order to maximise profit for a manufacturing plant. This learning activity introduced students to fundamental principles of management and game theory delivered through the simulated game via live synchronous mode.

Such external job assignments contribute to LSBF’s continuous refinement in university teaching and delivery methods while keeping innovation, creativity, and real-life application at the forefront of LSBF’s curriculum planning efforts.

Commenting on her philosophy about continuing education in general, Dr. Kesavan said, “Lifelong learning enhances our perception of the world around us and we should never stop learning. Good motivation leads to the positive energy in teaching, resulting in successful learning outcomes.”
