LSBF in Singapore Holds Personal Branding Career Workshop

On 12th April, LSBF in Singapore held a career workshop for students titled “Personal Branding: Building a Powerful Elevator Pitch”.

The workshop was conducted by Clemence Blondel, a certified coach and consultant with 15 years of sales, marketing and communications experience.

Clemence taught students how to craft an elevator pitch to market and brand themselves during job hunts, networking sessions and social events. The students were also given the opportunity to practise their pitches in pairs to build their confidence, taking turns to evaluate one another.

“I really enjoyed the session. I learnt that elevator pitches need to be concise and straightforward. We should include our personal qualities, experiences and real-life examples in a given time to impress the employer. I hope that the Student Services team can organise more of such workshops in the future,” said Kristina, a Hospitality student at LSBF in Singapore.
