Intermediate Workplace Literacy English for Foreigners

This course aims to help students:

• To understand the  intermediate  workplace literacy English for foreigners, especially those adult learners who are working in Singapore.
• To master the basic 3,000 words of vocabulary needed to be able to communicate smoothly in workplace English.
• To enhance on the basis of intermediate literacy of English, to ensure to read, understand, write and speak advanced English in workplace, correctly, precisely with confidence and result oriented.

• Classroom teaching, pair work, group work, discussion and tests.
• Each session 3 hours.
• 3 hours x 12 sessions = 36 hours of study to be covered in 3 months.

Upon successful completion of this stage students will be qualified to promote to study the advanced workplace literacy English.

• For adult learners with some or elementary level of knowledge of English and wish to improve their English further.
• Students will be able to interact in a confidential way and read and understand long texts on daily workplace English.
