This week, LSBF in Singapore were pleased to receive Franz Gertze, CEO of Namibia Qualifications Authority, and Dr Stephanie Van Der Walt and Ebben Ngulu from the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) as part of the partnership with NSFAF.
The representatives toured the campuses and met with various departments, with Mr Gertze noting that LSBF in Singapore is cited as an example of economic success in Namibia’s National Development Paper. Dr Van Der Walt also commented that she was very impressed with the high quality teaching and customer service level that the school upholds.
Mr Rathakrishnan Govind, Managing Director of LSBF in Singapore, said: “Students coming to study at LSBF in Singapore will gain immense knowledge by immersing themselves in the vibrant financial and hospitality sector. The invaluable experience will certainly help them in contributing to the economy in Namibia on their return.”
Through this partnership, students from Namibia will be able to study at LSBF in Singapore with the support of the NSFAF scholarship. The first intake is scheduled for September 2015.
