ACCA AA Audit and Assurance (formerly F8)
The ACCA Audit and Assurance paper will teach you how to carry out assurance engagement and how to apply this within a professional regulatory framework.
Exam Structure
Your knowledge will be assessed via a three-hour online exam. Section A has 3 questions worth 10 marks. Section B has 1, 30-mark question and 2, 20-mark questions.

This ACCA Audit and Assurance syllabus will help you understand assurance engagement and how to apply it in the context of the professional regulatory framework.
Daytime sessions are between 9.45am-1.15pm.
Afternoon sessions are between 2.00pm-5.30pm.
Evening sessions run between 6.45pm-10.15pm.

Upon successful module completion, learners will:
- Understand the functions of audit and assurance engagement
- Understand the objectives you must meet for audit engagements and how to apply the International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
- Understand how auditors obtain and accept statements and how they deal with errors
- Evaluate internal controls such as IT systems to identify and manage risks and provide solutions
